Intensive Residential Program
DESCRIPTION
Pathway’s Intensive Residential Program is a residential treatment facility serving females age 10-18 with moderate to severe emotional and behavioral problems. The program has intensive beds for females licensed by Alabama Department of Human Resources. Emphasizing a focus on healthy adolescent development, the treatment staff provides comprehensive, challenging and therapeutic services. Pathway utilizes an interdisciplinary treatment team approach to address the complex issues that these adolescents exhibit. Team members include Psychiatrists, Nurses, Teachers and Therapist. Building relationships with the children and their families is an essential part of the treatment process.
WHOM DO WE SERVE?
Adolescents that have had a series of failed placements in outpatient treatments, residential programs, or a series of Psychological hospitalizations. The program serves both males and females with behavioral and emotional issues, in need of medication monitoring and comprehensive assessments. Many of the diagnosis served include: Bipolar Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct Disorder, Mood Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, ADHD and Learning Disabilities.
