CAMPS PATHWAY & DAVIS

CLIENTS SERVED
Young men between the ages of 13 and 18. Exceptions may be made based upon birth date.

DIAGNOSTIC PROFILE
Pathway typically provides services to those diagnosed with and/or manifest symptoms consistent with conduct disorders, oppositional defiant disorders, attention deficit disorders, adjustment disorders, depressive disorders, and substance related disorders.

TREATMENT TEAM
The treatment team is comprised of a licensed clinical psychologist, board certified physician, licensed professional counselors, masters level therapists, certified special and regular education teachers, certified vocational instructors, company sergeants, and a consulting registered dietitian.

TREATMENT MILIEU
Pathway is located in rural southeast Alabama, situated on an 80 acre property designed to compliment the bootcamp experience. The young men live in 10 man (maximum) barracks.

CLINICAL SERVICES
Residents participate in group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, a ten month school program, year round vocational instruction, Alpine Tower training & recreation. The psychologist coordinates weekly treatment team conferences to insure the appropriateness, quality, and continuity of care. The young men actively participate in developing and implementing their personal treatment plans - thereby taking increased responsibility for their own progress and success in achieving their goals.

LENGTH OF STAY
Camp Pathway is designed as a 12 week intervention program. Young men can be ³recycled² for additional 4 week increments when their goals for participation in the program are not met.

CERTIFICATIONS
Certified by the State of Alabama Department of Education with a private school license; Licensed and certified by the Alabama Department of Public Health and the Alabama Department of Youth Services.

REIMBURSEMENT FOR SERVICES
Region IV Alliance 4 Children Contract with referrals through 10 county juvenile court Systems. Private pay capitated rates.

ADMISSIONS Pathway considers each referral individually, based upon the needs of the client in conjunction with the program's ability to effectively provide appropriate services.
